Welcome! My name is Zsófia Lendek and I am professor at the Automation Department of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. After my Control Engineering studies in Romania, I did my PhD at the Delft Center for Systems and Control, Delft University of Technology, on nonlinear observers, with prof. Robert Babuska and prof. Bart De Schutter. I did postdoctoral research at Delft and more recently at the University of Valenciennes, France, where I am collaborating with prof. Thierry-Marie Guerra and dr. Jimmy Lauber.

My main research interests lie in the area of stability analysis and observer and controller design for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems.
